Good Shepherd Cork is a voluntary organisation that works with women,
young girls and children who are or have experienced homelessness. A
vacancy has arisen in the Support & Advocacy Team which works across
Cork City and County to assist our clients to live more fulfilled and
self-sufficient lives.

OF
PROJECT WORKER
This vacancy will be offered on a permanent basis subject to funding.
The position involves working **Apply on the website** hours per week
Monday ? Friday and may involve unsociable hours.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Candidates must hold a professional social care or social work
qualification.
* Have a minimum of 3 years working experience.
* Possess a full driver?s licence and have access to their own
transport.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Support & Advocacy Manager the candidate will:
* Possess the interpersonal and communication skills necessary to
establish trusting relationships with clients and encourage engagement
with the service
* Work as part of a small dynamic team in providing client-centred
emotional and practical support
* Manage and prioritise own caseload and work with flexibility and
initiative
* Work with clients across a range of settings including client
homes and other relevant venues
* Develop and deliver a range of group work and social activities
* Keep accurate and concise records of all client contact on both
PASS and Salesforce systems
* Implement all organisational procedures and policies including
health and safety and child protection guidelines
